Winhance - Windows Enhancement Utility 🚀

Winhance is a C# application designed to debloat, optimize and customize your Windows experience. From software management to system optimizations and customization, Winhance provides everything you need to enhance Windows 10 and 11 systems.

Winhance features most of the same enhancements as UnattendedWinstall without needing to do a clean install of Windows.

[!NOTE] Winhance is an independent, open-source project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or associated with Microsoft in any way. "Windows" is a registered trademark of Microsoft Corporation. Any similarities to Windows Settings or other Microsoft interfaces are a natural result of building a Windows enhancement tool using native Windows UI frameworks.

Also, I'm not a developer, I'm just enjoying learning more about scripting/programming and learning as I go.

Please also understand that I prefer to develop and work on these projects independently.
I do value other people's insights and appreciate any feedback, but don't take it personally if a pull request is not accepted.

What is this?Winhance is a free Windows enhancement utility that debloats, optimizes and customizes Windows 10 and 11, combining app management, privacy and performance tweaks, and theming in one GUI app.
Is it a one-shot script or a full app with a graphical interface? It is a full desktop app built in C# with a WinUI3 interface — searchable sections with toggle switches, not a script you run once. It offers the same enhancements as the author's UnattendedWinstall project without needing a clean Windows reinstall.
How do I get it onto my PC?Paste the quick-install command from the README into PowerShell to download and run the installer, or download Winhance.Installer.exe, which lets you pick between an Installable and a Portable version during setup.
Is it polished software or still rough around the edges? It is still in development, so bugs can happen — they are handled through the GitHub Issues tab. The author is a hobbyist learning as he goes and reviews pull requests selectively.
Which Windows versions does it work on?Windows 10 and 11 only, x64. It has been tested on Windows 10 22H2 and Windows 11 23H2, 24H2 and 25H2.
Can I use it for client work or rebrand it as my own tool?Yes to client work: the PolyForm Shield 1.0.0 license makes it free for individuals, businesses and IT professionals, including servicing clients. No to rebranding — you cannot fork it and redistribute it as a competing product.
What do the Advanced Tools do?WIMUtil builds custom Windows installation ISOs, including adding drivers from your current OS, and Winhance can generate an autounattend.xml file based on the selections you made in the app — handy for pre-configuring fresh installs.
Can I carry my settings to another PC?Yes. You can save everything applied in Winhance to a configuration file and import it on a new system or after a fresh Windows install, so you do not have to redo each tweak manually. The app's own light/dark theme is toggled there too.
Can it install regular third-party programs too?Yes. The External Apps section installs useful applications through the WinGet COM API, organized into categories like Browsers, Multimedia utilities and Document viewers.
Is Winhance made by Microsoft? No. It is an independent open-source project with no Microsoft affiliation; any similarity to Windows Settings comes from building the tool with native Windows UI frameworks.
