What is this?A curated (awesome-list) collection of free/libre games, plugins, add-ons, scripts, templates and demos built with or for the Godot game engine.
Is this a tutorial site or just a list of links? It is purely a curated index of links to external games, plugins, templates and demo projects; the old tutorials section has been removed and merged into the official Godot documentation.
How is the list organized?Entries are grouped by category: Games (split into 2D, 3D and XR, each broken down by Godot version 2/3/4), Projects, Templates, Demos, Plugins and scripts, Modules, GDScript/C# editor support, Themes, Unofficial Godot builds, Bash scripts and Websites.
Are the links in the list kept up to date? The repository runs an automated CI workflow to check that listed URLs are still alive, but the inclusion itself is community-curated via pull requests rather than strictly vetted for quality.
Do I need to already know Godot to use this list?Yes, it assumes you are already a Godot user looking for free/libre add-ons, templates or example projects rather than a beginner tutorial to learn the engine from scratch.
Can I find official learning tutorials in this repo? No, the tutorials section was removed and the README points readers to the official Godot documentation instead.
Does the list cover older Godot versions like Godot 2?Yes, many sections (Games, Templates, Demos) are split into Godot 2, Godot 3 and Godot 4 subsections, so you can find version-appropriate resources.
What besides plugins and games is included? The list also covers non-game tool projects, engine and syntax themes, unofficial Godot engine builds, helper bash scripts, and community websites related to Godot.
Is everything in the list free to use?Yes, the list is explicitly restricted to free/libre games, plugins, add-ons and scripts for Godot.
