A very small world with excellent bounce

Jelly Baby is a 7 cm resident of a warm wooden tabletop. It has no errands, no scoreboard, and no interest in standing still for long.

Wander over to the swing. Try the trampoline. Pull the little jelly by the crown, give it a hop, then let go and watch the wobble travel through it. The room is quiet enough to notice the details: the window light on the table, the soft thump of a landing, the face changing its mind halfway through a stretch.

Choose a flavor when the mood changes. Lime is the default; strawberry, blueberry, and lemon are waiting in the palette.

Make it move

On desktop, use WASD or the arrow keys to wander and Space to hop. Drag the tabletop to look around; scroll or pinch to move closer. Drag the baby itself to stretch and throw it. R brings everything back to its starting place.

On touch, the joystick handles wandering and the round button handles hopping. The play button appears when a facility is close enough. The same button gets you off again.

Sound begins with your first interaction and can be muted from the top corner.

What is this?Jelly Baby is a small 3D web toy: a bouncy jelly character living on a tabletop that you poke, stretch, and bounce around on a swing or trampoline, with no goals or scoring.
Is this a game with objectives, or just a physics toy to play with?It is a sandbox-style toy rather than a competitive game - there is no scoreboard or errands, just a soft, wobbly character you can drag, hop, and throw around the scene.
How do I control the jelly baby?On desktop, use WASD or the arrow keys to move and Space to hop, drag the tabletop to look around, scroll or pinch to zoom, and drag the jelly itself to stretch and throw it; R resets the scene. On touch devices a joystick handles movement and a round button handles hopping.
Do I need to install anything to play it?No - it is meant to be played live in a browser. If you want to run it from source instead, you'll need Node.js since it is built with Vite and Three.js and started via the project's dev script.
Is there a goal or scoring system? No - the project deliberately skips objectives and scoring, so there is nothing to win or complete, just free-form bouncing and poking.
What flavors can the jelly baby be?Lime is the default flavor, with strawberry, blueberry, and lemon also selectable from a palette.
Does the game have sound?Yes, sound starts after your first interaction with the page and can be muted using a button in the top corner.
What facilities can the jelly baby use on the tabletop? The scene includes a swing and a trampoline, and a play button appears automatically when the jelly baby wanders close enough to one of them.
What technology powers the 3D scene and physics? It is built in JavaScript using Three.js for rendering, with Delaunator providing computational geometry support, likely feeding into the jelly's soft-body simulation.
