What is this?
A joke project that generates nonsensical Chinese text, built purely so the author could test whether his GUI code renders text correctly.
Is this a real NLP text generator?
No. The author explicitly says he knows no NLP algorithms and prefers the simplest approach that works; the output is deliberately gibberish, not coherent writing.
How do I run it?
The README describes it as a Python 3 project, and there's also a separate, easier-to-use online version modified by a contributor named suulnnka.
Does the generated text make sense or read coherently?
No — by design the output is nonsense and repetitive. The author warns three times not to use it for anything serious, only for fun, and lists reducing repetition as a future TODO.
Who would actually want to use this?
Mainly developers who need filler Chinese text to stress-test GUI text rendering, not anyone looking for usable written content.
What features are planned next?
The TODO list includes reducing repeated content, adding more filler phrases, pulling in material from the comedian Ma Sanli, and a feature to render handwritten-style output as images (to test the author's printer).
Why are some variable names in Chinese?
The author admits it was just laziness early on, writing Chinese corpus text and code together without switching input methods, and decided to keep it that way.
