What is this?
My TV (我的电视) is a live TV streaming app for Android TV boxes — it is ready to use right after you install it, no extra configuration needed.
Is this a standalone app or just a channel list for another player?
It is a standalone installable Android app (APK), not just a playlist you feed into some other player — you install it directly on the TV box and it plays live channels on its own.
How do I install it on my TV box?
Download the package from GitHub or Gitee, then install it via a USB flash drive; Xiaomi TVs can use the Xiaomi TV Assistant, and any device with ADB enabled can be installed that way too.
What features are still missing or buggy?
Several things aren't implemented yet: per-channel volume normalization, brightness/volume controls, favorites, hidden channels, software decoding, and automatic updates; some regional channels are also absent.
Does it work on every Android TV box?
Not perfectly — some boxes can't auto-start the app, like the Phicomm (斐讯) N1 box, and the China Mobile '新魔百和M302A' box on Android 4.4.2 crashes.
Where do the channel streams and resources come from?
Some code, images and text used by the app are sourced from the internet; if anything infringes rights, the maintainer asks to be contacted so it can be removed.
Is the project actively maintained?
There's a changelog and a CI build workflow, but the README itself warns the project could be discontinued at any time, so it shouldn't be treated as a reliable long-term source for TV.
Why does Gitee get mentioned alongside GitHub for downloads?
Gitee is offered as an alternate mirror, likely for faster or more reliable downloads for users inside mainland China.
