What is this?
SpotiFLAC Next is a desktop app that lets you grab Spotify tracks in true lossless quality by pulling the actual audio from Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, or Deezer — no streaming account needed.
Is this the same open project as the original SpotiFLAC?
No — it's a closed-source successor built with the Wails framework (Go + web UI), distributed only to project supporters instead of being published as an open-source release like the original.
How do I get access to it?
You don't download it from a public release page: access is given through a private supporter post after you support the project's development, and you can reach out via Telegram or [email protected] for help.
Do I need accounts for Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, or Deezer?
No account is required by default, but a BYOA (Bring Your Own Account) option lets you log in with your own service accounts if you have them, which the original SpotiFLAC didn't offer.
What's different between SpotiFLAC Next and the original SpotiFLAC?
SpotiFLAC Next adds a Workflow mode, a Home Feed, and BYOA account support, pulls from Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music and Deezer instead of just Spotify, and ships more frequent updates — but it's closed-source compared to the original's open code.
What is BYOA (Bring Your Own Account)?
BYOA lets you sign in with your own Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, or Deezer account instead of relying on the app's built-in access, a feature the original SpotiFLAC didn't have.
Where do the lyrics come from?
Lyrics can be sourced from Spotify Web, Musixmatch, LRCLIB, Tidal, or Amazon Music, giving more providers than the original app's single LRCLIB source.
