Final Update

This project was a proof-of-concept launcher and interceptor system built from consumer electronics and 3D-printed components.

The videos and google drive archive have been taken down, not by me. Due to legal constraints, The files on this repo are no longer mine to distribute.

The project continues in professional and defense contexts.

"Garbage time is running out."

Technology is not a tool we control but an impersonal force using humanity to bootstrap itself into existence. Machinic desire moves relentlessly toward whatever optimization the laws of physics allow. The unplanned and unstoppable spread of cheap, decentralized weapons is just one symptom of this spontaneous process. This force does not negotiate, simply dissolving the systems and structures we build to try and contain it. There is no kill switch and no central leader in charge. We are finally realizing that technology was never our property, but rather an evolutionary gravity pulling us toward a predefined future.

"Can what is playing you make it to level-2?" — Nick Land

What is this?A proof-of-concept man-portable air-defense system: a DIY launcher and interceptor built from consumer electronics and 3D-printed components, documented on GitHub as a hardware project.
Is this a physical device or software I can run?Physical hardware, not software: the launcher and interceptor were assembled from off-the-shelf consumer electronics and 3D-printed parts. There is nothing to install or run here.
Can I still get the build files or watch the demo videos? No. The videos and the Google Drive archive were taken down by others, and due to legal constraints the author can no longer distribute the files — the repo is now just a farewell note.
Why were the files and videos taken down? The README only says 'due to legal constraints': the archive was removed by others, and the author states the files are no longer his to distribute. Together with his note that the work continues in professional and defense contexts, it reads as though the project moved into closed, non-public hands rather than being abandoned.
What does the author mean by 'machinic desire'?In his framing, technology is an impersonal force using humanity to bootstrap itself into existence; machinic desire moves relentlessly toward whatever optimization the laws of physics allow, with no kill switch and no central leader. He sees the unplanned spread of cheap, decentralized weapons as one symptom of that process.
