Welcome to OmniTools, a self-hosted web app offering a variety of online tools to simplify everyday tasks. Whether you are coding, manipulating images/videos, PDFs or crunching numbers, OmniTools has you covered. Please don't forget to star the repo to support us. Here is the demo website.

All files are processed entirely on the client side: nothing ever leaves your device. Plus, the Docker image is super lightweight at just 28MB, making it fast to deploy and easy to self-host.

Searching Database…

What is this?A self-hosted web app bundling dozens of browser-based utilities for everyday tasks: image and video editing, PDF work, text and data conversions, date and math calculators. No ads, no tracking.
Is it a website I open in a browser, or a desktop app I install? It runs entirely in the browser as a web page — you can use the public demo or host your own copy. Nothing gets installed on your device; a server (yours or the demo host) just serves the app.
How do I run my own copy?Self-host it with Docker: pull the official image and run the container — it weighs only 28MB, so deployment is quick. The README also documents running it via Docker Compose.
Besides Docker, do I need to set up anything else — a database or a separate backend? No. The image is self-contained and all tools run client-side in the browser, so there is no database or extra backend to configure — any machine that runs Docker will do.
Is the tool collection finished, or still growing?Still growing. The README lists six categories (image/video/audio, PDF, text, date and time, math, data) with several tools each, and more are being added over time.
What happens to files I process — are they uploaded to a server? No uploads happen: every file is processed entirely on the client side in your browser, so your data never leaves your device even on someone else's instance.
Which tools are actually included right now?Named examples include an image resizer, converter and editor, video trimmer and reverser, PDF splitter, merger and editor, case converters and a list shuffler, date calculators and time zone converters, a prime number generator, an Ohm's law calculator, plus JSON, CSV and XML tools.
Can I try it before deploying my own instance?Yes — the README links a demo website where you can use the tools directly in the browser before self-hosting anything.
Can I add my own tool to the collection?Yes, it is a React + TypeScript project built with Material UI, and a scaffold script (node scripts/create-tool.mjs) generates a new tool; tests run with Vitest and Playwright.
Does the interface come in other languages?Yes, the UI is community-translated: Ukrainian is 100% complete, while Chinese, Hindi, Russian, German, Spanish, French, Japanese, Dutch and Portuguese are around 70-72% done.
