🔑 Connect with third-party apps using the package name

The app's package name is "com.deniscerri.ytdl".

🔍 Verify application signature

The app should contain the signature below. The github workflow action uses it, and the releases are based on it to make it a reproducible build. If the signature is different, your third party distributor has modified the application. Please use the app with the original signature.

🤖 Connect with third-party apps using intents

You can use intents to push commands to the app to run downloads without user interaction. Accepted variables:

TYPE -> it can be: audio,video,command
BACKGROUND -> it can be: true,false. If its true the app won't show the download card no matter what and run the download in the background

An example of downloading an audio item in the background with Tasker

  1. Create Send Intent task
  2. Action: android.intent.action.SEND
  3. Cat: Default
  4. Mime Type: text/*
  5. Extra: android.intent.extra.TEXT:url (instead of "url" write the URL of the video you want to download)
  6. Extra: TYPE:audio
  7. Extra: BACKGROUND:true

Это самостоятельное приложение или обёртка над консольной утилитой?Это нативное Android-приложение с интерфейсом Material You — обёртка над yt-dlp: большинство его функций доступны через GUI вместо терминала, хотя встроенный терминал тоже есть.
Как установить его и начать скачивать?Установите APK (Android 7.0+) и либо вставьте или найдите ссылку в приложении, либо отправьте URL прямо в YTDLnis через карточку внизу меню «Поделиться».
Нужно ли отдельно устанавливать Python или FFmpeg?Нет, приложение управляет своими компонентами само: Python, JS-рантаймы, FFmpeg и Aria2c оформлены как плагины, которые можно установить/обновить через раздел обновления внутри приложения или репозиторий ytdlnis-packages.
Приложение всегда имеет оригинальную подпись, или мой APK могли подделать?Проект предупреждает, что сторонние распространители могут изменять приложение, поэтому стоит сверить подпись релиза с опубликованной в репозитории, чтобы убедиться, что сборка не изменена.
Ведёт ли оно учёт того, что я скачиваю?По умолчанию загрузки логируются для поиска неисправностей, но режим инкогнито позволяет скачивать без сохранения истории и логов.
Каковы условия его лицензии GPLv3?Это GNU GPL v3.0, но само имя проекта 'YTDLnis' ограничено: форкам и неофициальным сборкам нельзя использовать его для приложения-загрузчика.
Можно ли обрезать или редактировать видео перед сохранением?Да, можно нарезать видео по временным меткам или главам (экспериментальная функция yt-dlp) без ограничения числа вырезок, удалять сегменты SponsorBlock и разделять элементы на отдельные файлы по главам.
Можно ли планировать загрузки или качать пакетно?Да, можно ставить загрузки в очередь, планировать их на конкретные даты/время (в том числе несколько сразу), качать несколько элементов одновременно и даже подать текстовый файл, полный ссылок или поисковых запросов.
Могут ли другие приложения запускать загрузки автоматически?Да, YTDLnis принимает Android-интенты с переменными TYPE (audio/video/command) и BACKGROUND, так что инструменты вроде Tasker могут запускать тихие фоновые загрузки без открытия приложения.
Поддерживается ли вход в аккаунты для приватных видео?Да, поддерживаются cookies: можно войти в свои аккаунты, чтобы скачивать приватные или недоступные видео и открыть премиум-форматы.
