laravel-admin

⛵laravel-admin is administrative interface builder for laravel which can help you build CRUD backends just with few lines of code.

Requirements

Installation

This package requires PHP 7+ and Laravel 5.5, for old versions please refer to 1.4

First, install laravel 5.5, and make sure that the database connection settings are correct.

composer require encore/laravel-admin

Then run these commands to publish assets and config：

php artisan vendor:publish --provider="Encore\Admin\AdminServiceProvider"

After run command you can find config file in config/admin.php, in this file you can change the install directory,db connection or table names.

At last run following command to finish install.

php artisan admin:install

Open http://localhost/admin/ in browser,use username admin and password admin to login.

Configurations

The file config/admin.php contains an array of configurations, you can find the default configurations in there.

Right to left support

just go to this path <YOUR_PROJECT_PATH>\vendor\encore\laravel-admin\src\Traits\HasAssets.php and modify $baseCss array for loading right to left (rtl) version of bootstap and AdminLTE css files.
bootstrap.min.css change it to bootstrap.rtl.min.css
AdminLTE.min.css change it to AdminLTE.rtl.min.css

What is this?laravel-admin is a package that builds a full-featured admin backend for a Laravel application, generating CRUD grids, forms and detail views from your database models with just a few lines of code.
Is this a standalone app or a Laravel package?It's a Composer package you install into an existing Laravel project, not a separate application; it adds an admin panel on top of your app.
How do I get the admin panel running in my app?Install Laravel 5.5+ with a working database connection, then run the publish commands to copy assets and the config/admin.php file, and finish with the install command; after that you log in with username admin and password admin.
What PHP and Laravel versions does it need?It requires PHP 7.0 or higher, Laravel 5.5 or higher, and the Fileinfo PHP extension; older Laravel setups need the 1.4 branch instead.
Is there anything I should fix right after installing?The seeded admin account uses the default credentials admin/admin, so that should be changed immediately after first login for security.
Does it work with any frontend stack or just the bundled AdminLTE theme?It ships with the AdminLTE/Bootstrap theme and front-end libraries (jQuery-pjax, Chart.js, etc.) baked in, and RTL support is enabled by manually swapping the bundled CSS files for their RTL versions.
What extra features can I add via extensions?There's a large official extension catalog covering things like a media manager, redis manager, log viewer, backup manager, API tester, task scheduler, rich-text editors (wangEditor, Summernote, SimpleMDE), charts (Chart.js, ECharts), image cropping, and a Google Authenticator integration.
Why use laravel-admin instead of hand-coding CRUD screens?It auto-generates the grid, form, and show views straight from your model, cutting admin-panel boilerplate down to a few lines of code; it was inspired by SleepingOwlAdmin and rapyd-laravel.
Can I change where the admin panel is installed or which DB tables it uses?Yes, the generated config/admin.php file lets you change the install directory, database connection, and table names.
