Bootstrap Admin Template

CoreUI Bootstrap Admin Panel Template is not another blend of 3rd parties free components and libraries. It's the only Open Source Bootstrap Admin Dashboard Template built on the enterprise-grade hand-crafted UI Components Library created and backed by professionals. CoreUI Admin Template helps you build reliable web apps faster than before. CoreUI offers 4 versions: Angular, Bootstrap, React.js, and Vue.js.

Curious why I decided to create CoreUI? Please read this article: Jack of all trades, master of none. Why Bootstrap Admin Templates suck.

One license also covers React, Vue and Angular. It's a separate add-on, not part of CoreUI PRO.

Scheduler

CoreUI JavaScript Scheduler ships six views — day, week, month, agenda, resources, and timeline — with drag & drop, RFC 5545 recurrence, and DST-safe time handling, using the same markup and stylesheet this template already uses.

npm install @coreui/scheduler

One license also covers React, Vue and Angular. It's a separate add-on, not part of CoreUI PRO.

Support CoreUI Development

CoreUI is an MIT-licensed open source project and is completely free to use. However, the amount of effort needed to maintain and develop new features for the project is not sustainable without proper financial backing. You can support development by buying the CoreUI PRO or by becoming a sponsor via Open Collective.

Searching Database…

What is this?A free, open-source Bootstrap 5 admin dashboard template built on CoreUI's own hand-crafted UI component library, used as a starting point for building admin panels and dashboards.
Is this a finished app or just a UI template I build on top of?It's a frontend UI template/component library built on top of Bootstrap 5, not a standalone running app - you take its HTML/SCSS/JS files and build your own project on top of it.
How do I get it running locally?Clone the repository, then install the npm dependencies and run the build scripts (for example the 'css', 'js' and 'build' npm-run-all tasks) to compile the SCSS and JS into the dist folder.
What do I need installed to build it?Node.js and npm are required to run the build pipeline, which relies on packages like @coreui/coreui, @coreui/icons, @coreui/chartjs, chart.js, simplebar, sass, stylelint and ESLint.
What's missing from the free version compared to CoreUI PRO?The free template skips PRO-only components (Autocomplete, Calendar, Date Picker, Multi Select, Stepper, Rating, etc.), and the Data Grid and Scheduler are separate paid add-ons not bundled with either the free template or CoreUI PRO.
Does CoreUI offer versions for other frameworks besides plain Bootstrap?Yes, alongside this Bootstrap template CoreUI also ships dedicated Angular, React.js and Vue.js admin templates, both free and PRO.
What's included in the AI-assisted development setup? The repo ships with a .cursorrules context file, ARCHITECTURE.md, DEVELOPMENT.md and JSDoc-commented JS modules so tools like Cursor, Claude Code and GitHub Copilot understand the project's Bootstrap/Pug/SCSS conventions out of the box.
Why not just use plain Bootstrap components?CoreUI wraps Bootstrap 5 in its own hand-crafted component library (sidebar, charts, tables, etc.) instead of stitching together random third-party plugins, so the components stay consistent and documented.
What UI components come with the free template? It includes dozens of Bootstrap components such as Accordion, Alert, Avatar, Badge, Card, Modal, Navbar, Sidebar, Table and Tooltip, with some advanced ones (Autocomplete, Date Picker, Stepper, Rating) reserved for CoreUI PRO.
