What is this?
A compilation of React patterns, techniques, tips and tricks — a community-maintained reference of short write-ups for everyday React development, with 17k+ GitHub stars.
Is this a library I add to my project, or something I read?
Something you read: a GitBook-style collection of short articles living in the GitHub repo — nothing to install, no runtime code; the only script is 'gitbook serve' to preview it locally.
Is this aimed at React beginners or developers who already ship?
Mostly developers who already write React: it assumes you know components and state and goes up to advanced material like HOCs, though each section starts with a gentle Introduction.
Where should I start with it?
Skim the Introduction page of each section first, then read Design Patterns and Techniques — it is the core of the book; the Anti-Patterns section is the most valuable read before your next refactor.
What styling approaches does it show?
The Styling section covers stateless UI components, style modules, style functions, NPM-based styling components (base, layout, typography), and a higher-order component for styling.
Can I read it in another language?
Yes — community translations exist in Chinese (react-bits-cn) and Korean (react-bits-ko).
