Spotify Portal AI Plugins

Bring Spotify Portal into Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor.

This plugin provides focused workflows for the Portal CLI: set up authentication, search your software catalog, build service briefings, run diagnostics, and invoke Portal actions.

Highlights

The marketplace also ships shunt (Claude Code only for now): a plugin that routes I/O-heavy agent work — bulk file reads and boilerplate generation — to AiKA modes running cheaper worker models, via the Portal CLI actions registry. See plugins/shunt/README.md.

What is this?A Spotify plugin that brings Portal into AI coding agents — Claude Code, Codex, and Cursor — with workflows for auth setup, catalog search, service briefings, diagnostics, and Portal actions.
Is this a standalone app, or does it live inside my coding agent? It lives inside your coding agent: you install it as a plugin for Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, and its workflows call the upstream Portal CLI under the hood.
How do I get it into Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor? In Claude Code, start a new session and run the setup command; in Codex, open /plugins and install Spotify Portal; in Cursor, register the spotify/portal-ai-plugins repo in your team marketplace and install from Cursor Settings.
Do I need anything besides the plugin, like Portal credentials?Yes — the setup workflow configures Portal CLI authentication and verifies the required auth, actions, owner, search, and service commands before you can proceed.
Does every coding agent get the same feature set?Not quite — the main workflows cover all three agents, but shunt, the companion plugin for offloading I/O-heavy agent work, is Claude Code only for now.
What is shunt?A second plugin in the same marketplace that routes I/O-heavy agent work — bulk file reads and boilerplate generation — to AiKA modes running cheaper worker models, via the Portal CLI actions registry. It works with Claude Code only for now.
What is Spotify Portal, exactly?Based on the README, it's the platform behind your software catalog and technical documentation, with an actions system on top; this plugin just exposes its CLI workflows to your coding agent.
