What is this?
Training materials for a JavaScript full-stack bootcamp: they teach the basics needed to build both the front end and back end of a simple web application.
Is this a course I take, a book I read, or a piece of software?
Lecture material for a two-day bootcamp: four talks covering front-end history and trends, the React stack, Node/Express app development, and front-end engineering. It is not a runnable app or library.
What do I need to do before the first lecture?
Follow the environment preparation section of the README and install the software it lists before the training starts.
Can I take it with zero coding experience?
No — it is explicitly not a zero-basics course: you are expected to know basic HTML, JavaScript, CSS, and command-line usage already.
Is the material free to use and share?
Yes, it is released under GPL v3, so it is free to use, study, and share under the same license terms.
Are the materials written in English or Chinese?
Chinese — the README and the training itself are in Chinese (the title 全栈工程师培训材料 means Full-Stack Engineer Training Materials), so plan for that before diving in.
Can I work through it on my own, or is it classroom-only?
It was designed as a two-day group bootcamp with in-class exercises, but nothing in the repo requires an instructor, so self-study works too.
How up to date is the content?
The repo dates back to October 2016, and the stack it teaches — React, Express, RESTful APIs, Travis CI — reflects that era, so double-check current tool versions as you go.
