What is this?
PeakMap is a companion project for the game PEAK that shows a daily map with locations of luggage, belltowers, capybaras, amulets, the Tomb and other points of interest, built from data gathered by an in-game plugin.
Is this a mod, a website, or both?
It is both: a BepInEx-based plugin that automatically collects location data (and screenshots) from the game, plus a website that displays the resulting daily map to players.
How do I see the daily map?
Just open the PeakMap website — the README points to a 'click here' link for the web application — to browse the current day's map and item locations, no installation needed for viewing.
Do I need BepInEx if I want to generate map data myself?
Yes, the data-gathering half is a BepInEx-based plugin; once dropped into the game, it automatically collects data and screenshots and writes everything to the plugins directory.
Does PeakMap cover every item and biome in PEAK?
Not fully yet — mushrooms and The Klin biome are still unsupported, while luggages, belltowers, capybaras, beehives, early worms, antlions, amulets, the Tomb, and biomes like Shore, Tropics, Roots, Alpine, Mesa, Caldera, Gloom and The Cidatel are already tracked.
Which biomes does PeakMap currently support?
It covers Shore, Tropics, Roots, Alpine, Mesa, Caldera, Gloom, and The Cidatel; The Klin is not yet supported.
What's planned for PeakMap next?
A bot to automatically upload new data to the site, and a way to upload a current run's map to get precise mushroom and food locations.
Is PeakMap an official PEAK tool?
No — it's an unofficial, open-source fan project and is not affiliated with Aggro Crab or Landfall Games, the makers of PEAK.
What does the plugin actually track?
It automatically logs luggage, belltowers, capybaras, beehives, early worms, antlions, amulets and the Tomb, and takes automatic screenshots of the map.
