Download docker-compose.yml into your private server:

curl https://raw.githubusercontent.com/docusealco/docuseal/master/docker-compose.yml > docker-compose.yml

What is this?DocuSeal is an open source DocuSign alternative: a web platform for digital document signing. You build PDF forms, send them out, and get them filled and signed online on any device.
What's the quickest way to get it running?One-click deploys exist for Heroku, Railway, DigitalOcean and Render. On a private server: download docker-compose.yml and run docker compose — point your DNS at it and Caddy issues SSL certs automatically.
What do you get in the free version vs Pro?Free covers form building and signing. Pro adds white-label, user roles, reminders, SMS identity verification, conditional fields, bulk send via CSV/XLSX, SSO/SAML, template APIs, and embedded signing forms.
Any catch in the license? It's AGPLv3 with Section 7(b) Additional Terms — extra conditions on top of the standard license, spelled out in LICENSE_ADDITIONAL_TERMS, so review them before commercial use.
Does it verify that a signed PDF hasn't been tampered with?Yes — automatic PDF e-signature and PDF signature verification are both listed as core features, so signed documents can be checked after the fact.
Can I try it without deploying anything?Yes — the README links free online tools: Signature Maker, Sign Document Online and Fill PDF Online, no server needed.
Why is there a Pro version if the core is open source?Advanced business needs are monetized: white-label, SSO/SAML, bulk send and embedded forms are paid, while the company also sells integration services for banking, healthcare, real estate and similar industries.
