Getting Started

Simple Instructions

First, to install the latest version of Wasp on macOS, Linux, or Windows with WSL, run the following command:

npm i -g @wasp.sh/wasp-cli

Then, create a new SaaS app with the following command:

wasp new -t saas

This will create a clean copy of the Open SaaS template into a new directory, and you can start building your SaaS app right away!

This repository includes comprehensive code quality tooling to help maintain code standards:

Prettier (Code Formatting)

Prettier is configured for automatic code formatting across all JavaScript, TypeScript, and other supported files.

# Check if files are formatted correctly

ESLint (Code Linting)

ESLint is configured with TypeScript and React support to catch potential bugs and enforce code quality standards.

Внутри он опирается на Wasp (фулстек-фреймворк на React, NodeJS и Prisma), а для документации и блога используется Starlight от Astro.
Как с этим начать работать?Сначала установите Wasp CLI (macOS, Linux или Windows через WSL), затем выполните предложенную команду, чтобы создать новое SaaS-приложение — она скопирует шаблон Open SaaS в свежую директорию, где можно сразу начинать разработку.
Что нужно установить или где зарегистрироваться заранее?Нужны Wasp CLI и окружение Node.js: на фронтенде — React, на бэкенде — NodeJS, с Prisma поверх базы данных PostgreSQL. Для отправки почты и приёма платежей также понадобится аккаунт у провайдера вроде SendGrid или Stripe.
Работает ли это на Windows, и есть ли подводные камни?Windows поддерживается только через WSL, нативно — нет. Авторы также предупреждают, что часть SaaS-функций может ещё отсутствовать: это открытый шаблон, и все желают могут дополнить его своими контрибуциями.
Как развернуть готовое приложение?Одной командой через CLI можно задеплоить базу данных, сервер и клиент на Railway или Fly.io, либо развернуть всё вручную на любом другом хостинге по вашему выбору.
Какие платёжные провайдеры он поддерживает?Stripe, Polar.sh или Lemon Squeezy — выбираете, что лучше подходит вашим продуктам, ведь платёжный механизм уже встроен в шаблон.
Что входит в комплект помимо аутентификации и оплаты?Отправка почты (SendGrid, MailGun или SMTP), загрузка файлов в AWS S3, фоновые cron-задачи и очереди, аналитика (Plausible или Google Analytics), сквозные тесты на Playwright и пример работы с OpenAI через function calling.
Что здесь означает AI-ready?В репозитории лежит специально подготовленный AGENTS.md, а также кастомные плагины, навыки и правила для ИИ-помощников в коде — Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, OpenCode и подобных инструментов, чтобы ИИ-агенты понимали, как работать с этой кодовой базой.
