Searching Database…

What is this?Auto-Commenter is a Claude AI skill that automatically writes and posts personalized Reddit comments, learning your writing style, analyzing post context, and tracking daily quotas across subreddits.
Is this a standalone app or a Claude plugin? It is a Claude Skill — a folder of markdown instructions and resource files that Claude AI/Claude Code runs together with the Playwright MCP server for browser automation, not a separately installed application.
How do I get it running?Install the skill folder, build a personalization file at .claude/skills/reddit-commenter/resources/personalizationreddit.md from 8-10 of your own comments, configure target subreddits in subreddits.md, then run single-comment or batch mode.
What do I need before running it?You need Claude (Claude AI or Claude Code) plus the Playwright MCP server, which drives the browser to actually post comments; no Reddit API key is used.
What are the current limits?Out of the box it only works with Reddit — Twitter, LinkedIn and Discord are listed as 'coming soon' and require manually copying the skill folder and writing new personalization files for each platform.
Who is this built for?It is aimed at indie founders and marketers who want to promote a product on Reddit through genuine-sounding engagement instead of obvious bot spam, including an optional lead-tracking file for interested users.
What is the 16-point quality checklist for? Before posting, the skill runs each drafted comment through 16 checks to make sure it reads naturally and doesn't look like an automated bot comment.
How does lead identification work? While scanning posts, the skill flags users who look like a good fit for your product and logs them to a leads file for follow-up.
What happens in batch mode?Batch mode automatically fills your daily quota, for example 24 comments across 8 subreddits, spacing posts 5-15 minutes apart so the activity looks human.
Why does the project warn against automating everything? The README's Responsible Use section asks users to mix in manual comments, avoid spam or false claims, and follow each community's rules rather than fully automating engagement.
