There is no limit to the number of servers you can connect, and there will never be. There is no limit to what API you can use for automation, and there never will be.

What is this?Komodo is a self-hosted platform for building and deploying software across many servers, giving teams a central dashboard to manage builds, deployments and server automation with no hard limit on scale.
Is this a single app or does it need something installed on each server?Komodo runs as a central core server plus a lightweight agent called Periphery that you install on every machine you want it to manage; the core talks to Periphery to run builds and deployments on that host.
How can I try it before setting anything up myself? There's a hosted demo you can log into directly with the credentials demo/demo, and a separate build-server demo you can log into with komodo/komodo.
Do I need to install an agent on every server I want to manage?Yes — each target server needs the Periphery agent installed so the Komodo core can connect to it and run builds and deployments there.
Is this considered stable enough to run in production? The maintainers make a best effort to keep releases stable and bug-free, but they explicitly warn there are no warranties and that you use it at your own risk.
Why is it called Komodo? It's named after the Komodo dragon, described in the README as the largest living member of the Monitor family of lizards, a nod to the project's server-monitoring roots.
Is there a limit on how many servers or APIs I can connect? No — the README states there is no limit on the number of servers you can connect or the APIs you can use for automation, and there never will be.
