What is this?
A ready-made admin dashboard solution built on Vue 3, Pinia and TypeScript with the Element Plus component library — a starting point for developing web-based back-office systems.
Is it a finished product I can deploy, or a starting template?
A starting template: it is positioned as a multi-functional admin framework template covering most admin-system needs, and you build your own panel on top of it.
How do I get it running?
Clone the repo, run npm install, then npm run dev — the dev script starts the Vite dev server. A production build runs vue-tsc type checking followed by vite build.
Anything I need installed before it will run?
Node.js 14.18 or newer — the template uses Vite 3, which requires it — plus npm for the packages.
Does it include the server side, or is it frontend only?
Frontend only — a browser SPA with no backend. For backend features the author points to the separate tsrpc-manage-system project, and the legacy Vue 2 version sits at tag V4.2.0.
Would it suit a client admin project on a tight deadline?
That is exactly the use case the author describes: the logic is kept simple on purpose, making it a fit for outsourced projects and fast delivery.
What actually gets deployed when I build on it?
A static web bundle — it is a browser-based admin SPA, so you host the build output like any other website.
Can I use it in commercial work?
Yes — it is MIT licensed, so commercial use, modification and redistribution are all fine.
What does it include out of the box?
Login and registration pages, a dashboard, tables and forms, charts, rich-text and markdown editors, drag-and-drop image upload with cropping, permission management, three-level menus, custom icons and theme switching — all wired up on Element Plus.
Is there a live demo before I clone anything?
Yes — the README links an online demo and includes screenshots of the home and login screens.
Which chart library powers the dashboard?
ECharts — the echarts and echarts-wordcloud packages are both dependencies, backing the template's charts feature.
