Mangayomi is an open-source Flutter app for reading manga, novels, and watching animes across multiple platforms.

[!WARNING] Official Warning: Mangayomi does not have an official website. This GitHub repository (kodjodevf/mangayomi) and our official Discord server are the only official sources for Mangayomi. Always download official releases from our GitHub repository.

Using flutter_rust_bridge

To run and build this app, you need to have Flutter SDK and Rust toolchain installed on your system. You can check that your system is ready with the commands below. Note that all the Flutter subcomponents should be installed.

rustc --version
flutter doctor

You also need to have the CLI tool for flutter_rust_bridge ready.

cargo install 'flutter_rust_bridge_codegen'

run the following command:

flutter_rust_bridge_codegen generate

Now you can run and build this app just like any other Flutter projects.

flutter run

What is this?Mangayomi is a free, open-source Flutter app for reading manga, webtoons, comics and novels, and for watching anime and movies, available on Android, iOS, macOS, Linux and Windows.
Is this a mobile app, a desktop app, or both?It is a single Flutter app that runs natively on phones and desktops alike, not separate mobile and desktop versions.
Any install pitfalls I should know about?Mangayomi has no official website — only the GitHub repo and the official Discord server are trusted sources, so be wary of lookalike sites. On iOS, AltStore/SideStore sideloading signing only works for releases newer than 0.5.2.
How do I add new manga or anime sources?Sources (extensions) can be written in Dart or JavaScript, with separate contributing guides (CONTRIBUTING-DART.md and CONTRIBUTING-JS.md) explaining how to build them.
Does Mangayomi host the content itself?No, it only reads and plays content from sources — the developers state they do not host any content and have no affiliation with the providers available online.
Can I track my reading and watching progress?Yes, it supports tracker integrations with MyAnimeList, AniList, SIMKL, Trakt and Kitsu.
