What is this?It is a meta-directory that collects links to hundreds of other curated lists found on GitHub and elsewhere, split into a 'Non-technical' section (hobbies, food, books, etc.) and a 'Technical' section (dev resources, APIs, frameworks).
Is this one list or an index of lists? It is an index of lists: each entry (like 'awesome-biology' or '30-seconds-of-code') is a separate repository elsewhere, and this README just links out to it with a one-line description. There's even a nested 'lists of lists of lists' section for meta-meta-lists.
Are entries vetted before being added? There's no formal review criteria described beyond accepting community pull requests, so coverage leans toward breadth and crowd-sourced additions rather than strict curation.
Does it include a CSV version for easier filtering?Yes, besides the Markdown README the project also ships a CSV export of all the listed entries.
Why use this instead of searching GitHub's awesome-list topics myself? It pre-curates and categorizes dozens of awesome-style lists under clear Non-technical/Technical headings, saving you from manually trawling GitHub topics.
What's the difference between a regular awesome-list and this repo?A regular awesome-list (like 'awesome-biology') collects resources on one topic; this repo is one level up — it collects links to many of those individual lists, hence 'list of lists'.
