This repository contains a list of Google's official Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, guidance on how to deploy MCP servers to Google Cloud, and examples to get started.

⚡ Google MCP Servers

Remote MCP servers

These remote MCP servers are managed by Google, and are available via endpoint. Below are a few key remote servrs. For a comprehensive list of all remote MCP servers managed by Google in General Availability (GA) and public preview vist the supported products pager

Open-source MCP servers

You can run these open-source MCP servers locally, or deploy them to Google Cloud (see below).

What is this? This repo is Google's curated collection of its official Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers, plus guidance for deploying MCP servers on Google Cloud and a couple of example agent projects.
Is this one MCP server or a whole collection? It's an index of two kinds of servers: remote MCP servers Google already hosts at fixed endpoints (like BigQuery or Spanner), and open-source MCP servers you run locally or deploy yourself to Google Cloud (like Workspace or GKE).
How do I actually start using one of these servers? There's no single install step for the whole repo — you pick the specific server you need (e.g. Google Maps, BigQuery, Workspace) and either point your agent at its managed remote endpoint or run/deploy its open-source code following the linked docs.
Do I need a Google Cloud account to use these?Yes in practice — most remote servers connect to Google Cloud resources like BigQuery, Spanner, Cloud SQL, or Cloud Run, so you'll need a Google Cloud project to use them.
Is this an officially supported Google product? No — the README explicitly says it's not officially supported, is meant for demonstration purposes only, and is excluded from Google's Vulnerability Rewards Program.
What example projects are included? Two reference agents: 'Launch My Bakery', built with the Agent Development Kit (ADK) using remote Google Maps and BigQuery MCP servers, and 'Allstrides', an app migrated from local to cloud using Developer Knowledge, Cloud SQL, and Cloud Run MCP servers.
How do I deploy my own MCP server to Google Cloud? The README links to docs and a blog post on hosting an MCP server on Cloud Run in under 10 minutes, plus codelabs for securely deploying an MCP server on Cloud Run and for architecting multi-agent systems.
Which Google services already have remote MCP servers?Google lists remote servers for AlloyDB, BigQuery, Bigtable, Cloud SQL (MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server), Compute Engine, Firestore, Google Maps, Security Operations (Chronicle), GKE, Spanner, Cloud Run, and Cloud Storage.
What open-source servers are available if I'd rather self-host?Open-source MCP servers cover Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, Gmail), Firebase, Cloud Run, Google Analytics, Cloud Storage, Genmedia (Imagen/Veo), GKE, Google Cloud Security, gcloud CLI, Flutter/Dart, Angular, Google Maps Platform, and Chrome DevTools.
