We welcome fixes to existing content. For any new content you wish to contribute, please use this repository:https://github.com/play-with-docker/play-with-docker.github.io.

This repo contains Docker labs and tutorials authored both by Docker, and by members of the community. We welcome contributions and want to grow the repo.

What is this?A collection of hands-on labs and tutorials for learning how to use Docker with various tools, authored both by Docker and by community members.
Is this a tool I install, or reading material? It is reading material - a set of written, hands-on tutorials in the repo that you follow along with on your own Docker setup; there is nothing to install from the repo itself.
Where should a beginner start?Start with the 'Docker for beginners' tutorial - it is listed first - then move on to Swarm Mode or one of the language-specific tracks like Java or Node.js.
Is this repo still actively maintained? No - it is archived. New labs are not being added here; the team's focus moved to training.play-with-docker.com, though fixes to existing tutorials are still welcome.
What topics do the tutorials cover?Beginner Docker, Swarm Mode, Docker security and networking, building a 12 Factor app, live debugging of Java and Node.js apps in containers, ASP.NET with Windows containers, plus hands-on labs from DockerCon US 2017.
How many tutorials are included? The official section lists about a dozen, from 'Docker for beginners' through security, networking, and the DockerCon US 2017 labs, plus a community tutorials section.
