What is this?
A single, self-contained HTML page that renders the open-source book '高性价比人生指南' (How to Live Better) — all 32 sections and 528 life-advice tips — into a searchable, mobile-friendly reading page.
Is this a fork of the original book, or just a reader for it?
It's not a fork — it doesn't change the original book's content at all. It's purely a renderer that turns the upstream repo's text into one self-contained webpage.
How do I open and read it?
Open the online reading page, or download the repo and double-click index.html locally — no build step is required.
Do I need internet access or any tools to use it?
No. The page uses zero external resources — no CDN, no external fonts, no fetch calls — so it keeps working fully offline once loaded.
How is the content kept in sync with the original book?
A GitHub Actions workflow pulls the upstream repo daily at 06:00 Beijing time and rebuilds the page, committing only when the content actually changed.
What does the A/B/C grading on each tip mean?
Each tip carries an evidence-strength grade (A/B/C) and a cost-effectiveness tier, showing how solid its underlying research citation is.
What is the '说人话' highlight block?
It's a plain-language callout that translates each tip's statistics into everyday wording, and it's made the most visually prominent part of each card.
Can I search or filter the tips?
Yes — there's a site-wide keyword search with highlighted matches, plus toggles to show only A-grade tips or only the plain-language summaries.
Can I regenerate the page myself from the source?
Yes, the source folder can be set via the HLTBREPO environment variable, and the stats format matches the upstream repo's sync script so output can be checked against its badges.
