What is this?
An Agent Skill that works with an AI agent (such as Claude Code) inside your contest folder to help write up a CUMCM (China Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling) paper in LaTeX, delivering a compiled 论文.tex plus PDF.
Is this a modeling tool or just a writing helper?
It is explicitly positioned as a 'paper writer' only: it drafts the paper from the modeling notes, code and results you already have, and will not redo the modeling or solving unless you explicitly tell it to.
What do I need besides the skill itself?
You need an AI agent that supports Skills (such as Claude Code) plus a working XeLaTeX toolchain, since the paper must compile with zero errors into a PDF.
Will it fill in gaps if my modeling notes are incomplete?
If material is missing, the agent asks you first; only with your consent will it do extra solving (noting 'newly added solving: ...' in the delivery summary), and it only runs a full re-modeling pass if you explicitly ask for one.
What reference papers does it include?
It bundles OCR-readable versions of award-winning CUMCM papers in ref/, deliberately covering the three main problem types (A optimization, B physics, C data) with same-problem/different-method pairs for B and C, so the agent can study structure and phrasing without copying content.
Which contests is this built for?
It targets China's CUMCM (National Undergraduate Mathematical Contest in Modeling) and the README also notes applicability to the US MCM/ICM contest.
Can I adapt the templates or writing rules to my own team?
Yes — everything is just files: edit references/论文写作规范.md for different writing rules, swap templates/论文模板.tex for another contest's template, or drop your own scripts into scripts/ with a note in SKILL.md.
