What is this?
Gold Miner (掘金翻译计划) is a Chinese community that translates high-quality English tech articles into Chinese, covering blockchain, AI, Android, iOS, frontend, backend, design, and product topics.
Is this a translation tool or just a catalog of translated articles?
It's a content archive and community hub, not software — a curated GitHub repo linking to thousands of translated articles organized by category, plus full translated documentation sets like the TensorFlow docs and the JavaScript Tutorial.
How do I get started, as a reader or as a translator?
Readers just browse the category sections (blockchain, AI, Android, iOS, frontend, backend, design, product, etc.) and click through to full translations. Prospective translators follow the linked guides on how to claim an article, submit a translation, and proofread others' work.
Is the translation quality checked, and is the project still active?
Every translation goes through a proofreading step by other community members before publishing, and the project is still running with regularly updated article lists per category.
What's included besides individual articles?
The project also hosts complete translated documentation and handbooks, such as the TensorFlow docs, The JavaScript Tutorial, ML Kit docs, GraphQL docs, and a Next.js guide.
How big is this project?
It has published over 4,000 translated articles and 13 full documentation/handbook translations, with contributions from more than 1,500 translators and proofreaders.
How is the content organized?
Articles are split into categories like blockchain, AI, Android, iOS, frontend, backend, design, and product, each with its own running list and an 'all translations' link.
Where do the source articles come from?
Source articles are English tech pieces shared on the Juejin (掘金) platform, selected and then translated by community volunteers.
