What is this?A collection of in-depth reading notes on the Spring framework's source code: the author dissects how Spring's internal components are implemented and publishes the walkthroughs as free study material.
Is this something I install and run, or written material?Written material only — there is no code to build or deploy. It is a set of notes organized by Spring component, meant to be read alongside the framework's source.
Who are these notes for — can a Spring newcomer follow them? They target Java developers who already use Spring and want to see what happens under the hood. Be comfortable with Java and basic Spring usage before diving into the framework internals.
Which Spring components do the notes cover?Separate note sets for spring-core, spring-aop, spring-context, spring-task, spring-transaction and spring-mvc, plus a section on Guava Cache — the only non-Spring topic in the collection.
Where should I start reading? The README is a portal of links — each component's notes live in its own section. spring-core is the natural entry point, since the rest of Spring builds on its core container.
Do I need to know Chinese to read these notes?Yes — the project is entirely in Chinese (the title reads 'Reading notes on Spring components'), so comfortable Chinese is a hard requirement.
Why did the author write these notes? They started as the author's personal notes from reading Spring's source code and were later published on GitHub, so other developers studying Spring internals can follow the same path without starting from scratch.
