What is this?
UFI-TOOLS is a system management and extension framework for ZTE (Ziguang/UNISOC-based) mobile WiFi routers like the F50 and U30 Air, giving you signal monitoring, remote control, and a plugin store on top of the stock firmware.
Is this an app I keep on my phone, or something I install on the router itself?
It comes in two forms: the Pocket Edition (PE) is just a phone app that remotely controls the device over the network, while the Full version is installed directly on the target device (router/tablet) via Web UI, APK, or a Magisk module for complete control.
Which devices does it actually support?
It targets ZTE devices on the Ziguang (UNISOC) platform running ZTE MyOS 13, specifically the F50, U30 Air, Changxing 60/60Plus, Yuanhang 60, and the ZTE cloud-computer tablet (W200DS series); other UNISOC+MyOS13 devices may theoretically work.
Do all features work out of the box, or do I need to unlock something first?
Many of the deeper features — the full plugin store, root-level control, remote SSH, and fast update channel — are gated behind an 'Advanced Mode' that requires elevated system permissions, and some functions depend on the specific device model or firmware version.
Who is this really for — a casual user or a tinkerer?
The PE version is meant for quick, light use by regular users, while the Full version with root access and plugin store is aimed at advanced users and hardware enthusiasts who want deep control.
What kind of plugins are available in the plugin store?
The store includes things like AdGuardHome for ad/DNS filtering, an SSH access tool, a battery charge-limiter, EasyConnect campus VPN support, Crontab scheduled tasks, and EasyTier for cross-location mesh networking.
What can I monitor or control on the device?
You get real-time signal metrics (RSRP, SINR, PCI, Band, SNR, QoS), band/cell locking without a reboot, CPU core control, performance mode switching, SMS send/receive with auto-forwarding, and a built-in AT command terminal.
Can I access the device remotely over the web?
Yes, it runs a lightweight built-in web server reachable from a browser, showing device status, live performance monitoring, the plugin store, and network controls on both mobile and PC.
