Only building from source requires a dev stack: Node.js v18+, npm v9+ and Rust (Tauri runtime).

Run the xattr fix command from the README, or pick Open Anyway in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Many tools can also be relaunched automatically with the new account injected.
