Is this a repo I install, or just a plugin listing? It's a read-only mirror: the repo just holds a marketplace.json file listing approved plugins, synced nightly from Anthropic's internal review pipeline. You don't clone or build it — you browse and install plugins through Claude Cowork or Claude Code.
How do I install a plugin from this marketplace? For Claude Cowork, install plugins from claude.com/plugins. Claude Code has its own install path through the same marketplace listing.
Do I need Claude Cowork or Claude Code to use these plugins?Yes — the plugins listed here only work inside Claude Cowork or Claude Code; this repo is just the catalog, not a standalone app.
Does it work on Windows, macOS, and Linux? The repo itself is just plugin metadata and CI tooling, but the tagged platforms indicate the listed plugins target Claude Code/Cowork across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
How often is the plugin list updated? The marketplace.json file is synced nightly from Anthropic's internal review pipeline, so new approved plugins appear automatically without manual commits to this repo.
Is every plugin here safe to install?Every plugin listed has passed Anthropic's automated security scanning and been approved for distribution before being added to the marketplace file.
How is this different from claude-plugins-official?This repo mirrors community-submitted plugins, while anthropics/claude-plugins-official contains plugins maintained directly by Anthropic.
Where do I go to submit my own plugin?Submit it via clau.de/plugin-directory-submission — direct pull requests to this repo are rejected automatically.
